Brightly coloured picture of gypsies around a campfire. A joyous scene of everyone singing and celebrating including families with children, animals, a violin player in the background, and an open fire with pot being heated. Music composed by Edwin Flood and dedicated to Mrs Kenyon (1848).
The words from a poem are by Stuart Farquharson Esq., DCL.
A note on the front cover also states that the song had been sung with great applause at the London & Provincial concerts. This edition is printed in colour by M & N Hanhart and priced at two shillings and sixpence.
