Photographed c1890, Waterloo Bar was at the top of New Street near Victoria Square, shown on the corner with Christ Church Passage which ascends to Waterloo Street.
This location is now occupied by Halifax Bank, although the building is not the same, it is interesting as some nearby pubs were originally banks.
